While I said "I don't think it's an S but has a lot of the S features", a better description is it has a lot of the S performance without the higher end S features like a center tach/or/clock/or/vacuum, or driver's side remote mirror, or a fold down rear seat. I have a lot of research to do, but I checked the numbers on the block, trunk and core support, verified the rear end is sure grip. I do have the fender tag.

All 340 cars came with the Formula S suspension whether they are a A53 package or not. Tack/clock/vac gage, fold down rear seat, right side mirror are ALL options whether A53 package or not.

Post a pic of your fender tag and block out the vin# if you want to figure out all the codes.

The vin was already posted all over the web! See my break down. My guess only on the fender tag arrangement, but bet its close.

This car looks pretty true to its birth! The stripe is wrong (but is correct for a non A53 car) and some easily changed additions under the hood. This car was born with V7X stripe which is an accent stripe in black. Like I said if it matters to the new owner they will correct them. This is a very fine example of a non S 340 car. I can only assume it is exciting to drive.
 
Could anybody help me with a sequence build number? I would like to see where this 67 Barracuda fell in the order of their production.
