I need some advice. I'm changing the seat covers in my 72 Duster. How do I remove the plates from the backs of the medallions without damaging the pin or plate. I'd like to reuse these on the new covers ?

Befuddled
You have to pry the fingers back on the retaining washers so you can pull them off the stud. Be very careful not to break the stud, you might have to sacrifice the retaining washers by cutting them off with a dremel but those are replaceable, the medallion isn't repoped so use care.
