Got after it today for a few hours. This was the first time I've ever taken front fenders off, pretty fun. Came away with far more respect to those that can get really good panel gaps, LOL!
After seeing what's underneath, I think I'm going to stock up on some POR15 and hit under the fenders and the core support. Looked better than I expected.
In a previous post I said I broke a bolt going through the hood in to the alignment slider. Attempted to get it out today, drilled it out and tapped one of those reverse EZ outs in. Almost got it out but the EZ out snapped in half. I'll get another and try again.
Mocked up the newer more correct fenders, grill and hood.
I have off a couple days next week, I'm going to attempt to get the panel gaps a little more in line, especially the hood, and hopefully get my 1.03 bars installed.
