So in a city of only 10,000 people there are surprisingly 6 or 7 Darts here! So we decided the Dart Drivers should hang out and go for a cruise. Well sadly only 3 of us made the first cruise.

Although the cruise had some problems.

First off, I had just finished washing my car. Two minutes later driving down the road, this teen looked out of the passenger window and seen me two car lengths behind. Next thing I know a Tim Hortons coffee cup comes flying out of the passenger window and hits my car spray coffee onto the hood, windshield, and up onto the roof. When this happened instinctively I put my brakes on and they kept speeding off down the highway. I reported it to the RCMP but since the only description was a "Black Ford Pickup" there isn't much to go on. Think it's time to buy a dashcam.

The second incident happened to a friend's Dart. We decided to stop and eat. Just as he pulled into the parking space we heard a "ting ting ting" and then his front right brake locked up. After crawling under the car we found a bolt to his brake system lying in the wheel of the car (thus the ting ting ting sound as it rolled around). So we broke out some tools and put it back where it belonged and that solved the problem. Although now he's going to go recheck all the bolts on both sides to make sure.

Other than that it was a beautiful day and a wonderful cruise.

Pictures arriving ASAP!

Picture doesn't show the full injustice. Windshield was covered and even had it on the roof.

Something interesting. The '68 GTS is a Survivor, 100% original. The '67 GT is semi modified (sort of a GTS clone and has a 340), and my fully modified '71 Swinger!

I stopped at my Parents house for a couple of min and parked out front.
10 min later I came out to find a split open two liter soda bottle laying next to my car and soda splattered all over the left front fender and drivers door.
I'll tell you one thing, whoever did that was pretty lucky I didn't see them do it.
This is a small town and I'd a hit that person up in a parking lot somewhere around town.

Are all the Mopars up there red? :D
Some darn nice looking cars there.

What is wrong with these people? Jealousy ? If you work hard and save money they could have something cool also, who would even think to do that?kids these days need a swift kick in the ***!

That's pretty cool that you got 3 to cruise around Bill's Puddle! The small towns in BC have a lot of nice classics tucked away for 6+ plus months of the year but they come out about now for about 5 months and look great.

Even driving home from work in Vancouver this past Friday I saw a '67 Baracuda, a couple of Chevelles and a '68 Dart convertible.

A guy ought to put a hollow point in the *** end of their car ! but we all know where that would go .

Cool get together, minus the *** Clown. Looks like it was a beautiful day.

I swear I saw that 71 in Kelowna a couple of times. One night I even said "440?" as he frumped frumped by me in the Orchard Plaza parking lot :)

Those are some sweet rides! A dashcam would be a nice addition to your car. I have one that I use in my work truck and move it to either of my Darts when I take them cruising. This thing records in 1080HD, awesome sound and even has a night vision IR bulb on front. For max storage, I bought a 64gb micro SD card that gives me about 11 hours of video in 5 minute clips. Total cost is about $120$ US, $70 for camera and $50 for memory card. The model is a G1W-C.

The car used to be owned by Barry Esser of Kelowna :D

Really hope we can get the other Dart Drivers in town on a cruise soon.

You see Rush isn't the only Power Trio from North of the border....nice cars, thanks for sharing!

Wish I could've joined you guys.
People should know to never mess with another man's ride...especially a Dart.

Fun!!! Lucky!! Mt:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Looks like a great time! Your a better person than me, I would've been on their tail until they stopped

Waiting for you to pop up! Can't wait to see your car again!

I'll be in the cruise for sure. Last year it rained so bad my intake was sucking so much water it kept stalling my engine :D

We are hoping to get all the Darts line up together this year if possible.

Nice looking group, I love that 68 GTS, very nice !

Interesting story about that car! The owner, Ronnie, when he bought it new, used to shuttle loggers from camp to town and back on the old logging roads in his Dart. It still has the original rust on the car from those trips :D

Well when it happened I slammed on the brakes because I couldn't see anything. Luckily no one was behind me. It took a lot of self control to not chase after them. Instead I reported it to the police. But without a license plate, they weren't too sure they could do anything.
