mill heads and maintain proper valvetrain angles

I cut .100 of a 360 block and .060 off x heads with a .040 head gasket also .100 longer valves used 273 rockers and off the shelf push rods for hydraulic adjustable rockers only had to put a .030 shim under rocker arm shafts and ran this engine for 3 years without valve train issues or clearances problems, and also cut the hell out of the intake to aline. but I must be lucky because there seems to be a lot of issues with clearances .
