Throttle Linkage Question..

Right now on my 318 is the POS 2 barrel. My performer and 750 holley are ready to go but looking at the throttle linkage on my 2 barrel is getting me confused. Can it work with the holley? I'll fabricate something if i have to
 
Will need a different Accel cable hold down bracket. buy or fab one up.
 
Take the bracket and put it in a vice. Bend the horizontal mount for the cable hold down into the vertical position. This should move the cable up and away from the carb. This will get the cable connected, bit if you have an automatic, get the little Edelbrock piece that goes between the kickdown rod and the slotted piece to your throttle. It should put everything within the adjustment range for the kickdown.
