70 dart suspension setup drag racing

Ive got a few questions on shock & caltrac setup on a sbm 420hp 1970 dart. It has mono leaf & qa1 adjustable shocks with caltracs in back, qa1 adjustable shocks in front. always ran footbrake and it felt like the whole car would just jump up when leaving off line. This year we put a powerglide trans and are leaving off a brake after adding a 9" rear. What setup should I start with on the shocks and caltracs this weekend?! Any help appreciated, Thanks!!
 
There is a threading this site on how to adjust Caltrac suspension. Try using the search function. It had suggestions on setting initial preload.
 
There is a sticky for Cal tracs on this forum. Near the top of the first page.
 
I have a similar 420 hp 68 Barracuda, and suffer from the 2plus /60fts with street suspension.And 325/50-15 DRs barely get it under 2seconds. Once you get it working, could you post up results? Maybe Ill bite the bullet and do something back there this year.
