WoW,
Looks Super clean like it just rolled off the dealers lot and that's some really nice work.

It's yours .....Love it....Drive it.....Show it.....Enjoy it!

Thumbs Up!

I LOVE all of your cars!! I am in love with the idea of doing a 4 door car or something all original now.. Man great job on every one of this cars!

And...in record time! You still have 4 months before Cruisin' the coast!!!!

That's because his tools and supplies were still out from the last car he did. :D

That's a darn nice Valiant you have there, and I'd be proud to own it.
I don't know how you have time to sleep and eat.

Awsome car; I like seeing cars restored to day one condition. I bet your trip South will be highlighted by many people admiring and commenting on your car as you stop for gas and eats.

Nice job-

LOve it! I would own it!
I like that you did this for your wife.....didnt buy her a 2 door to do, did it the way she remembered it.Thats Awesome. Nice to see a slant live on too.

Absolutely beautiful I love the 4 doors, have one myself. 68 Dart 4 door have had it to a few shows here in Texas. 1st place A body 30th Annual Southwest Mopar Mini-Nationals in Garland Texas also 1st place A body Chrysler's in the Canyon 6 Amarilo Texas. There were also plenty of A body 2 doors at each event. Tells me plenty of people love a good looking 4 door. Just sayin!

they are only undesirable if no one wants them but in this case and many others ....someone obviously wanted them so that makes them desirable ....to someone.

Very true Rani and he did a top job on it. Congrates on the great work

i also have a 4 door,61 chrysler.i get more comments on her than my sublime green duster.

64cudaV8, as far as an undesireable 4 door car goes, what the hell is with you. The reason I did this car is because I promised my wife 30 years ago that I would buy her one and fix it up. I kept my promise. 30 years ago my wife just had gotten her license at the age of 16 and this car, almost identical as to the one she learned to drive on was her first car. It was a gold 69 Valiant, slant 6, 4 door and down even to the rubber floor mats to the one she had back in the day. So when I promise my wife something, I keep it. I found this one after all this time with only 69000 miles on it so I did it for her.

Good for you and nice story to boot. Love the car and I bet your wife loves it. Will bring back many memories for her.

jd down here in Aus a majority of the Mopars which carried the pentastar were 4 doors exception for the Chargers or the vf vg 2 doors like the US 67-69 darts. You were all blessed by having 2 drs 4 drs ,rag and hard tops engine choices like a kid in a candy shop ! The car came up great but to top it off some white walls as mentioned in one of the above posts would finish it off ! 14 inch wheels , they are 13 on there at the moment ? looks like it from the pics.

This is for her. she told me she anted it stock. I was going to put a small block in it, but small block with 4 doors didn't sit well with me so I kept it as stock as possible. I did talk her into putting hood insulation on it and the turn signal indicators on the fenders but that is all she would let me do. I think they were options on a 69 valiant, maybe just not on this one. She is real happy this morning as we get ready to go on a 60 mile trip to a nice car show in Madison, Indiana with them. will update later today some pics and comments and possibly an award. thanks for the support. Bill

Great work but always wonder why people restore undesirable cars. I mean 4 doors.

I always wonder why people are ignorant enough to say things like that:violent1:

The car is very well done and I would be proud to own and cruise in it:prayer:

Congratulations on a beautiful car. I've always been fascinated with restoring a 60s-70s car to its "as delivered to the dealership" condition. A remarkable restoration sir. I tip my hat to you.

Great job!
for me its cars like this that make a show worth going to! Not that i dont want to see the big blocks, vibrant colors etc that are usually well represented. I like variety. With so many people inclined to build the 'desirables'., the everyday, common cars of the past are now becomeing the rarely seen ones. Thanks for saving it and sharing.

I like it! My more door is going in a different "sleeper" direction!

looks fantastic Bill, ignore the stupidity, some people have nothing better to do than find fault. you do great work, and you do it yourself which is what it is all about. I cant wait to see the next project.

Great job on the restoration!
I too like the 4 doors, too bad a lot of people think it's a waste of time and money to fix any 4 door up.
I have a '69 Valiant 4 door and a '69 Valiant 2 door post.
I think i like the 4 door better, a lot of people think i'm crazy! (Maybe i am, but it's my business.)
I always had a soft spot for 4 doors.......
Enjoy the ''new'' car you created, what a great gesture it was on your part to do this for your wife.
You did a great job on this one as always.
What's next?

Gorgeous! I love seeing 4 doors at shows. You would think the way people think, there were only 2 doors sold. There was a blue 4 dr. Valiant at Carlisle last year that got LOTS of attention...
