Body work is such a huge mountain to me. How do you build a car like that? I dont even know were to start when it comes to a build like this. I have a lot of respect for this.
Thanks. The first and most important thing for us is to have the right customer that is willing to spend the money and have enough trust in us to cut his car and change so many things. Second is you have to have a vision of what you would like the car to be and then have the ability to make it happen. There was a ton of engineering that had to be done on this build because we changed everything on this car other than the door hinges. There was a ton of head scratching to get everything packaged in this build. One of the biggest things was getting the side glass so they would operate. With the vehicle being shortened 2 inches behind the door, the LARGE wheel tubs, and taking the vent window out it was rather difficult to get figured out. The owner of this car is an engineer so he enjoyed watching all of the work that was put into his Dart.
