HDK is on-line?

Congrats! If I did an aftermarket front end job, this would be it. Having too much fun with stock stuff right now..

Please post some pics of the Motown Missile "wire car" from the Nats. I'd love to see some pics of the finished restoration.
I have a few "before resto" pics of it from when it was here in SoCal at the 401K Club shop.

I have the complete albums of the restoration in SoCal and will be posting plenty of Nat's stuff. To hold you over,
here is the "Wire Car" in Joe (Pappas') garage at home getting a fresh water pump and a couple of "finished" pics
from the restoration album. BTW, did you know that the small block motor that is in the Wire Car now came from
Bob Glidden's 1979 NHRA Pro-Stock World Championship winning Plymouth Arrow? It sounds awesome!

It was reported by Missile crew persons during at the seminar in NC that when finished, the Wire Car weighed less
than 1800 lbs ready to race and when stripped of the hood, doors, deck lid, seats radiator, engine/trans/rear end,
front suspension, brakes and misc. bolt ons the rest of the car could be carried around the shop by two people.

Last two pics: Brother HemiDenny in the Wire Car and Don Carlton Jr. in Denny's car at The East Coast Drag Times
Hall of Fame
reunion in Henderson, NC last October.
