I have a Demon 318 3spd w/ OD 8 3/4 4.11 gears. I was told it is a 3 spd w/ OD due to the fact I can run 75 mph at 2500 rpm with this setup. I am in the process of bumping to a 360 and a true 4 spd. I know the Bellhousing are/can be different depending on the bearing. Will the clutch work for the 4 spd? I know power of the new motor is a factor as well but just for sake of knowledge and the swap I am wondering. Are the lengths different between the two transmissions? Will driveshaft length be an issue? Do they mount up different or bolt in the same location? This is my first car, as I have always had trucks, so any info is appreciated.
