A body 8 3/4 housing width

I know it's been posted a hundred times , but what is the length of a stock A body housing outside flange to flange? I have alot of clearance issues with my tires and am wondering if my rear end isn't a B body housing thank's for any help.

I believe 52 5/8 is the housing

This is not correct! Drum face to Drum face is about 57"

hey bbrroo, how thick are your drums? mine are like 1/8", so drum to drum = 57.25", like u said, about 57"!!!

Cool, so it's 52 5/8 " flange to flange, I know there are some conflicting chart's out there. I will mesure it tomorow , thank's guy's!

Drum-to-drum is 57 1/8", flange-to-flange is 52 5/8" as already mentioned.
