Power steering fluid in the transmission

that transmission holds roughly 2 gallons of ATF , 12 ounces is nothing, it wont hurt it. hell , it may even help. I have ran ATF in power steering pumps for years and never had one let go. I knew a dude that would dump 12 oz of brake fluid in his transmissions hoping it would swell the seals and stop the leaks.
