Buffer ball cleaning..

Jean Guy,

No need to buy a new one..Update:

Well I tried the soap and water thing. It really didn't work...

So I went back to our MX days when I had 10 air filters to clean at one time and we hadn't discovered water based air filter oil yet...I am allergic to most petroleum products so I don't do this lightly..so after donning a set of rubber gloves..

Outside, I took a bucket and poured some gas into it...popped the 2 balls into the gas,I have a conical one for getting into rims as well..washed hard..rinsed the gas out and dropped them into hot soapy water.. roughed them up with my hands..them rinsed them under cold water..

Mounted them on the drill and spun them while squeezing them..

They look brand new again..without a gas smell..

Ian :)
