I hope to gain lots of info from this site to help me with a restoration for a 1966 Dodge Dart that has been partially restored and horribly repainted.
I am not a mechanic and this will be the first restore for me. Main reason I picked up this car, is for a bonding experience between me and my 13 year old son. I have never restored a car, and I have never owned an old car before.
This is the L6, lots of room in the engine compartment, and hopefully easy to work on (at least that's what I was told).
If there are any good sites for me, please let me know. I need parts, and pictures of anything.
Currently 1st up on the fix list, none of the gauges work. Which means I don't know how much gas I have, I don't know how fast I am going and I don't know if the Alt. and Oil pump are angry.
Thanks for this forum.. Now to begin searches....
