Fuel Vaporization Using Eddy Carb -- In-Line Fuel Pump Question

hey guys,
someone suggested a one way inline check valve. They seem cheap enough to try. Cheapest options so far anyway.

Thoughts on this?
And where exactly would it mount, up high near the carb or down low by the pumP?
