** UPDATE*** the dart rims/tires are on.. :)

-
rims are a 15x7 rim with 4.5 backspace. tires are a 225/60-15.

if i were to do it again or give someone wheel advice i'd go with 4.75 backspace. there is plenty of room under there.. well atleast with this size tire..

That dart looks absolutely killer, tires and wheels look great also!

Joe, a couple of questions and a request.

First, where did you purchase the 15 x 7 steeles?

Would you stay with the 225's and the 4.75 back space, or would you change the width?

In one of the photos I notice you have tabs on the control arm but no sway. Do you plan on adding one?

I like the front ride height, can you take a picture of how far the adjuster bolt sticks out from the bottom of the control arm.

Thanks
AlV

Looks great. Car is sitting perfect now with the front lowered. Dont know which I like the most dog dish on or off!

bought the wheels from wheel wheel vintiques. ofcourse they sell them with a 4.25 backspace so i had to pay the extra $25 a wheel for the backspace i wanted (4.5). they cost me $642.

yes i like the 225/60-15 even with more backspace. i think its a good looking size tire on the car. i'm sure you could go wider if you wanted though. that would be personal preference.

yes plan on a sway bar if i ever get around to buying one..lol. like to put one in the rear too. not sure what brand to go with though.

it has 1" just suspension bars in it. the car still has a slant six in it too. the bolts stick way out (i don't really like it but its what i had here so i used it). i'll try to get a pic for ya. got some running to do so not sure it will be today.

Car looks killer!! I just put some 225 60 15's on my Valiant last week, perfect street tire size for these cars. Mine are on cop wheels (4.25 BS) and the front ones rubbed a bit until I made some adjustments.

Man that looks really good, you nailed it. To me that's the perfect stance and look for a musclecar.

have any pictures of your car?

Looks awesome. I know you're not keeping it that way, but I dig the steelies with no caps!

Sorry but new to all this is the back spacing does that count for the front rims as well or just the rear rims. Once again sorry for asking just trying to get a size rim for my car and I'm kind of lost in trying to figure it out looking for some help.

Okay.....I will post a picture of the Valiant, just do not ask for any of my Dart LS project...this place is very sensitive. :)

all 4 wheels.. too much backspace in the front and it can hit the tie rods.

Looks Very clean and straight car.
Nothing like body match steelies... good job
