Small bolt pattern axles

Yes I am aware of it being a BBP rear only from factory, but wondered if axles we're out there to convert to SBP.

I assume 8 3/4 axles wont fit? .....I'm about to have a set to get rid of....
And yes....they're 5 X 4.0"

NO,Theres no mixNmatch there.
8.25s are C-clip axles and 8.75s are retainer plates, just for starters.

The centering hubs are different as well, so the problem is more than just redrilling. And adapters will push the wheels out so far, that wheel fitment becomes an issue.

I gotta ask; Why?
Lemme guess, you found some dynomite wheels, cheap, but they are 4"bc.I love those.

Nope, have a line on an 8.25 rear, but do not want to ditch the small bolt pattern rallyes I have or buy new ones.

A pair of aftermarket big bolt pattern rallyes is probably cheaper than a pair of aftermarket axles.

Can't you drill a second set of holes in the axle where the wheel studs mount and install the right studs? I ask because when I went to SSBC disc brakes for my Dart the hub/disc came drilled for both 4&1/2 and 4", seems like you could do the same, then all it would cost is the new studs and pulling and reinstalling the axles.

14x6 rallyes aren't very expensive. I'd think someone would trade at least straight across for SBP rallyes for LBP. But location and logistics are a issue.

Justin, I think Mark V had a set of LBP rallyes for sale a couple years back and I don't remember him selling them. And IIRC, they had acorn 72 type center caps.

All that said you need to convert front to LBP too. Making it a big project.

Do you have SBP discs in the front?
