A group from here in Iowa was planning on going but we are going to the Nats instead. It's a long and expensive trip for 2 and we have 4 going to the Nats. Purely economics. I will get there someday if I have to drive out myself. LOL It's on my bucket list. I hear it's a great show and very well organized. tmm

gonna be a long week for me..lol

we are leaving sunday. getting to lancaster area sunday night (only a 2 hour drive). monday us and two other couples (all in our old mopars) are taking our kids to dutch wonderland. then tues and wed we are taking them to hershey park. then thursday, fri and sat we will be at carlisle...

Unfortunately I will miss it this year. I have to judge a car show that Sunday so I can't justify driving that distance for one day of a show, even if the show is as great as Carlisle.

Have a great time everyone.

As close as I am to Carlisle (about 115 miles), last year was the first time I've been to Carlisle! Problem was I had generally had to work every Sat during my time with the Post Office. I will miss this year's Carlisle as my wife and I will be returning that Sunday from a 16 day trip to Paris, London, Amsterdam and Oslo in celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. No problem going to the Nationals - have been every year since my first one in 1985.

looking for parts so I park in swap meet section J13.
can deliver parts from Hartford, CT area
Have lots and lots of parts from 70 dart swinger 340 cars. stripping 75 dart 2 dr - has excellent grille.
Carlisle is best organized national show as I have been to Nats since 1984. Moparfest in Canada is another organized show but smaller swap area covering 300 vendors

VA58 & I will be up on Thursday the 9th to attend the kickoff show at the Carlisle Expo Center just a few blocks from the fairgrounds and hosted by the local club, Mopar Rebellion.

If your under the survivor tent Friday-Sunday be sure to say hello!

Sounds great ... but kind of sucks that it is so far to the "right" (east coast) ... really tough for anyone west of the Mississippi to make that haul. Too bad the big show wasn't more centrally located like in Minneapolis, Memphis, or ... St Louis!

I'll be there on spots P205-P206. Should be great fun !!

We'll be there again with the family...lots of parts!!! Spaces K152-154. See you all there!!

First time I'm going in a looooong time. Bringing my Ram SRT-10 this time as I'm doing a bumper exchange for my swinger. On the look out for some dual quad or six pack set ups on the cheaper than new price. Oh and I need to get my /6 to BB convertion mounts.

I'll be there in space O-203 with my oldest son selling LOTS of A-body parts.

I'm out of room in my garage, so please buy something!

Thanks!
burg

This will be my first time. About a 9 hour drive for me so I'm driving the rv. Any suggestions for first timers would be greatly appreciated. I'll try to stop by everybody's booth. Lots of parts to buy

Don't forget to go to Quarter Aces Friday evening for the Mopar drags.

There's also the York US 30 reunion show going on all weekend. If you like drag racing at all, you MUST go to this. It's about 40 min. south of Carlisle. It's a nice break, take a cruise in an air-conditioned car and go to an air conditioned auditorium... trust me on this, that is a good thing.

And the nostalgia drags at Beaver Springs on Sunday. Another great event - not all Chrysler but so many cool cars it doesn't really matter.

THE WOODSTOCK OF DRAG RACING

We will be running in the autocross event in the back. I figured out a way to cut the lap times way down this year, let the kid drive it instead of me, LOL. Ride alongs are welcome.
