Per Coker, the original tires on this car were 700-13, and Coker says they were 25.2" diameter. Both the 60-series tires you suggested are smaller diameter than the 700-13s. (225/60R14=24.7" dia., 215/60R14=24.2" dia.) I'd rule out the too small 215/60R14s. The minimum wheel for the 225/60R14 is 6".
The 215/70R14s I suggested are 25.9" dia. and can go on a 5.5" wheel if that's what he
has.
