The Rusty Wallace Experience

Well, here's the report, and from what I was hearing in the refund line, it's a little more common than you might think. The track had a scheduled event today, so the "Rusty Wallace Experience" had to be off the track by 1 p.m. I was in the 11 o'clock event, they put us through registration and the class, out to track side waiting for 30 minutes to cross and suit up, then gave us the cancel news. When I was in the refund line there were people that were there because they were cancelled last year (rain). This is something I would consider when booking this event, I'd book the earliest time and hopefully a time of year with good weather. I don't know what my buddies wife put out for the booking of our party, she wouldn't tell her hubby as it was a Christmas gift. There was a guy there from Canada, another that drove some distance and stayed overnight in a hotel, so quite a bummer all around. The people at the event could only refund the "extras" like riding 3 laps with a pro driver, split screen video, one on the nose of the car, another of the track, etc. they could not refund the actual package as they were bought through another company and they had no idea of what people payed. Still, with all of this, a guy who got cancelled and was getting his refund said if you haven't done it you should still experience it, so there you go.
