Over the last few years, I have bought up enough NEW* parts to build a 6.1 Hemi for my special project. I have aborted the project and now offer this (unassembled) engine up for sale. Here's what I have:
Brand new OEM bare block. Stock bore, final honed coated with special anti-rust protectant
Brand new OEM complete 6.1 heads in factory crates, never opened (with factory banding on crates)
New "take out" 6.1 crank, rods, pistons with rings and rod bearings
New "take off" 6.1 intake with throttle body and fuel rails
New 6.1 cam in factory box
New rocker assemblies and push rods, factory packaging
New roller lifters (non MDS) in factory boxes
New oil pump w/pick up, timing chain and tensioners in factory boxes
New block accessories ie, dowels, block plugs, etc.
New valve covers in factory boxes
*Used front timing cover (clean, nice piece)
*Used oil pan (clean, nice piece)
New rear seal retainer and seal in factory box
New head bolts
New main bolts lightly screwed in place
New misc. assembly bolts
Parts have been crated up for 1.5 years, so I need to unpack and double check what I may have missed.
As stated above, heads are still in their factory crates, never opened. I won't open them for pics unless I have a solid deal.
Engine located in San Francisco East Bay Area. Will ship to lower 48 states only; buyer pays shipping.
Includes custom made engine crate made from 1" square steel tubing with plywood sides, top and bottom. Bottom is 1 1/8" plywood with 4x6's to allow fork lift use. Can be reused multiple times.
