I don't know who has one qa1 k member

All of you guys running them- how did they fit? Any issues? weight savings? Lets hear about it!

I have one that I chopped up the mounts on to put a slant six on. Don't ask, it was just quicker and easier than finding a good k-member. I think the only major issue I saw was that the frame mounts don't have anything to really positively align them to the frame, and just use a bolt to bolt them down, with a washer. I guess it's probably for the best, because most frames aren't perfectly straight anyhow. There are no weight savings, but it is a nicer and more rigid design. I believe the mounts for a sway bar are made for the 73+ swaybar design, so that's a consideration.

Dropped out the old k member bolted in the new k member...that is how it fit..

used engine hoist to hold engine up while doing so....saved a few pounds....

on your ride?..... coil overs, rack steering, Wilwoods.... I'd go the distance. you won't regret it!

I was just curious since I have never heard the QA1 K member mentioned before...My ride won't be getting any of that stuff for a LONG time...Trying to buy a house right now, the car is gonna have to stay as is for a while and im fine with that :)
