Ha Ha! A friend asked if it had a cam. I told him of course, every car that runs has at least one.
OK, so, seriously- guess I'm showing my age. Here goes: a half race cam was hotter than stock, a full race cam was pretty much only good up near the redline RPM, so a 3/4 cam was a general term for a cam with lift, duration, and overlap some where between the 1/2 and full race cams.
