No... There are multiple different classes in Stock Eliminator.. H/SA G/SA F/SA and so on..
Each of those classes have a "index" witch is a number that you cant run slower than.
If the index is 12.15 then you want to run as far under the index as you can .. say 11.15 would be .90 under the index. - That is very good..
The way qualifying works is that the guy who runs most under there index is 1st.. That's why people who don't run much under cant qualify for INDY usually..
It is all just a bracket race where you dial in until you meet a guy in the same class as you .. say H/SA vs H/SA.. This means its a heads up race.. First one to the finish line wins..
