318 timing and fuel pressure
4.5PSI for the carb. Dizzy likes lighter springs found from an HEI re-curve kit. 34-36 total, then hook up vacuum advance; 48-52 total for cruise MPG; whenever it leans out, back it off 2 degrees. Manifold or ported vacuum, whatever runs better. Vacuum advance has no bearing on performance, so don't think that way. It's an addition to, not a subtraction from.

Next fuel pump, try a carter 4600HP, those holleys are looouuuddd.
Lastly, I highly recommend a cheap wideband gauge like an AEM UEGO or Innovate LC-2.
