Duster Interior going from gold to black

SEM 15243 satin black on this job. Probably will take 10-12 cans of color considering I am dying the headliner and the back seat and the dash. Those 3 alone will eat up some spray cans. 2 cans in right now with what you see in the picture and the passenger side door panel.

bit of a tip for you...most people put way too much paint on thinking the more paint the less lightly it is to wear off.....infact the more paint the worst it gets, paint in thin coats and only use enough to get coverage....as with any painting prep is everything....good luck
Got all the smalls done today. Dash / headliner and door metal sections are all that are left. Will be busy masking the car off to paint them in place later this week. Steering column also all apart and it appears I will be able to make the shifter shaft work as I had planned... I will add more pictures as I get the unit reassembled tomorrow.

Lighting on those door panels is wack, they both match even though it looks like one is more glossy than the other... All the parts except the rear metal sail panels and the over the door arches are Sem satin black. Metal panels are Satin canyon black Rustoleum. The sem paint did not go on the smooth metal pieces very well, but it seems to cover and preserve the texture of the glovebox and dash very well.

You might want to use the forumrunner app--it will allow you to upload multiple pix. As far as the making sure they're facing right side up, if you have a iphone4 or higher, you can rotate/correct the photos after you take them.

I like what you have done, really like the gauge lights, leds you said, I will have to find out more about those lights. Can you control the brightness with your headlight switch, or are either on or off. thanks
Yes the gauges will dim a little before turning off. Autometer makes a dimmer you can use of you want full range. I will post a couple pictures of full bright / dim next time I swing by to see the car. It's currently at the bodyshop.
