carlisle 4 weeks from today

Just got back. I loved the "Forward Look" cars exhibit, especially the Restored 58 Desoto Adventurer. Gold flecks in the Carpet! What a car. Also a few Furys, Pheonix, Savoy, Belvedere, Desoto Pace car and a Suburban wagon. Saw abodyjoe's car but no one around. Visited Hot Heads Research and Passon Performance. I bought a few things and beat feet for home. Hope it does not rain too much on you Guys and Gals.
 
Not sure why but I am really stoked to go this year. Maybe it's cause I need to just do something that does not involve taking care of someone else! Heading down tomorrow AM.

Holy crap. Crazy storm blew through here like 20 or so minutes ago.

I'll probably be parked right when you come in gate 3 again tomorrow. I'll either be wandering around or in the swap area under a friends tent.
 
If you guys get a chance --- please give a report on about the car corral and Abdy cars for sale up there.

Any descriptions-impressions, photos and prices/price ranges of 340 P and H code factory cars for sale that you see or learn about would be great (car Corral- on the grounds - or parked outside) --- and of course any BB Abodies, factory or otherwise that may be for sale.

I'm heading up EARLY tomorrow with a friend who is in the market.

No updates on this? I am leaving early tomorrow and looking for a nice set of 1972 dart fenders....hope to meet A-body Joe there

lots of over priced stuff as usual.. couple things that aren't too bad price wise as long as they can be talked down at least $1000.

personally i just don't see carlisle as a place to buy a car. maybe get a phone number and when it doesn't sell for the stupid carlisle price you can make a deal one the owner is home and back to reality.

have some pics on my camera and phone but can't upload them till i gat home later today.

BTW- guy from local club -Mopar Rebellion won the giveaway motor- nice!
 
Is it me, but attendance seem to be down this year....I saw about 30 or so open vendor spots, more professional vendors selling non-Mopar items and seating at the food court was plentiful around 11am. Still a good time!
 
I saw some vendors packing up @ 1:00pm on Saturday.....Hopefully it doesn't eventually become like the Englishtown Mopar Show
 
I left at 4:30 and lots of vendors were leaving
They come in on Tuesday and Wednesday and have regular jobs at home and need Sunday to travel
Sunday buyers are there for deals so they feel that they are not missing much
Chet's auto stays late on Sunday as that is his business and he is a good person to deal with
I left at 4:30 pm Saturday as I was chasing parts Thursday through Saturday and I found the parts I needed and there was only one of these parts there!
Full time vendors usually stay till the end but part time vendors need to work on Monday
If you need hard to find parts you must get there early or they are gone
I sold my stuff Friday from noon till 5 and saw the buildings and show field on Saturday
Great show but I am there Thursday and leave on Saturday evening
