I need help identifying the proportioning valve. I think it was from a 73 Dart, which is where the disc brake parts came from some 10 years ago for my 65 Barracuda (still a work in progress). Is this the correct one to use for disc/drum with manual master cylinder? I need a replacement because a line I removed had a burr and could have damaged the seat. This was a new SS line purchased from a vendor who makes these for all the old cars.

I can tell you for certain that it's not a 73-76 A Body proportioning valve.
Don't know what it is.
Might not even be a Mopar valve.
Nothing like what i have ever seen before for a Mopar car.

The MC doesn't matter -- the PV would have been the same either way. Any prop valve could be used for any disc/drum system, in theory, so long as the threads match the lines -- the Mopar non-adjustable ones (73 and up) are "one size fits all" in terms of proportioning effect. And the adjustable ones (up thru 72) are, well, adjustable.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I've never really seen one out of the car.

I've seen that brass one and the cast iron ones. I never knew what was the difference in them.

definitly not

I found some old notes where it is listed as a Bendix valve. However, I can't remember where I got it.

Additional info:
The line fitting from the MC to the rear port is 3/8-24, on the GM/universal replacements this is 7/16-24.
The line fitting from the prop. to the rear brakes is 9/16-20, on the GM/universal replacements this is 9/16-18.
