Yup. They tried it with me on our recent purchase (today). When I looked at the vehicle yesterday, I told the salesman I wanted a few things addressed. One of them was turn the rotors (all four) and install new pads all the way around.
They turned the rotors and installed the old pads. :banghead: Probably figured I wouldn't notice.
They told me they did, I asked the sales manager, "how many NEW pads have you seen that have rusted rivets on them". Idiots
Sooo...I made them put it in writing they will replace the pads as I requested before signing any papers. Now the wife has to go back next week to get it done.
