Right now I am battoning down the hatches, big dust/storm rolling into the valley of the sun[Phoenix], but before that I was putting in a new pertronix did get it running, but not happy with where I set the timing

Went to our last car show in the US then came home loaded the truck with our belongings car on the trailer all ready to head for Newark NJ in the morning to send it all back home to New Zealand.

Changed starter relay, battery cables and poured some gas in carb. It starts!!!!!!!!!

1. Change jets-tried to jet down for 100+ weather, didn't like the results, going to change back to original jet size.
2. Get a window net and get the mounting kit welded in before Friday. It seems that someone from IHRA came to the track last weekend and told them that they are not enforcing the window net rule for 6.49 and faster at 1/8th mile races. Hell I didn't even know I needed one, and neither did just about anybody else that races in no box class at my track.
3. Changing out the oil pressure sending unit for the 3rd time in 2 years. It's an AutoMeter unit, I don't know why they keep going bad.

Quite the learning curve here LOL.....:)

Now remove the a/c heater case and you are now almost at the half way mark !!!
And remember it reverse of removal !!!
Good luck.

Couldn't believe how difficult it was to remove the dash in order to gain access to the AC/Heater box. What the heck were the engineers thinking :violent1:

Found a bracket lodged in 1 of the doors causing an air flow issue....The bracket doesn't appear to be from this car either

Thanks Martin....Will need luck & prayers too!!

I have done my share of them !!!
I actually pretty quick on the chevy and fords.
Last Grand Cherokee Laredo took me 6hrs !!!
That bracket looks like a hood stay...Dam that's bummer.
When I worked at the Infiniti dealer, customer would come back to the shop and see their dash out and see all the wires and say you sure you can get that back together...I respond it will be done today...they were easier...
You got this far !!! Get r done...
Good nite

Drove it to work tonight, and got pulled over on the way in! Verbal warning for 36 in a 30. Made e late, but it beats getting a ticket.

WOW! 95% of the time cops here would let you go for 6 over. Musta wanted to check out your car!

Well I am gonna try to crawl under my cuda & see what mods I have to do to my left header. I put the heads & bell housing on my block & then put it in the car. I then put in the Schumacher headers. The z bar hits the header (not bad). I think if I cut the header a couple of inches from the collector & then move it down it will be fine. Well we will see !

I wish that was the case! They know me, my girlfriend works at the gas station they used to hang out at. The local chief started cracking down on speeders. The boys and girls in blue have been good to.me around here, they've let me out of worse.

Finally getting ever so close to abusing the streets!
