I'm in the middle of doing the minitub job on my car. The first side was a learning experience and I went slow. Now I know what to expect and the second side is going much faster.

Here is my progress so far. Spring relocation is next on the list.

Now all you have to do is get tires that make all that work worth it. :D

Nobody seems interested, but I'll update anyway in case somebody wants to see.

Spring relocation done and new metalwork for fuel cell is welded in.

Looks good.

I think you need a shield plate to protect any exposed section of your fuel cell hanging out the bottom.

Nice work. I like those stands also

Looks good. Very nice work. I like those tubs, and the fuel cell piece. The spring locators also look much better than the Mopar parts.

looks good! who's relocation boxes are those? I like the flange to bolt them in.
I would still fully weld them myself. but great way to locate them.

Thanks! This is what I'm doing later this year. Keep up good work and post some pics!

How are these :evil4:

I wasn't quite done with the fuel cell in the earlier picture. It now has the last metal piece added under the rear sump. Fuel pump, filters and lines for the fuel injection get done in a few days. Then I can swap the intake out for the EFI stuff.

Hoping to have this up and running for Mopars @ Etown in about a month. It won't have the new heads and cam, but I'll still be racing it if is ready.

I placed the opposite side box against the inside frame rail to get an idea where to cut and marked it. I used my plasma cutter to make the cuts about 1/4" away from the marks I made. Then used an angle grinder to take a little away at a time until they were able to bolt in. Once they were located like that I welded them in.

Awesome work! any pics of the car on the ground side shot wise? I have a 72 Demon as well. Still has stock springs with air shocks. Bought it back in March. So still piecing together my plan of attack.

What fuel cell and pump is that?
