I've seen them on here before but I can't find the photos. 71, 72 Valiant, Duster with a front spoiler. Looking for some ideas. There was a blue Duster for sale on this site a while back and he had what I'm looking for. Show me what you got

This is where I got mine:

'67/68 Camaro spoiler. They'll fit anything, and at $30 for the OER piece it's hard to go wrong.

is the mounting surface flat or curved on the Camaro spoiler ? my barracuda would need a curved one, about 1/2 to 5/8: up on each end( using a straight edge across it. I like the spoilers by randy, but their a little too pricey for me now-------:coffee2: bob

It has a slight curve to it. The OER piece is ABS plastic though, so it's actually pretty flexible. To mount it where I have mine I actually pulled more of a curve into it when I bolted it up to the valance. It has way more than a 1/2" curve up on mine. I pulled it at least that far with the mounting bolts, and it has a curve to begin with.

Likewise, you can also get it pretty much flat if you need to bolt it to a bumper, like on the Dusters/Valiants/Scamps.

I've got a DC front spoiler for a duster, still in original box. (Yeah, 30 year old cardboard box.LOL ). Don't know if it fits a scamp though.

Can you post a photo? What I'm looking for is a spoiler that goes from fender to fender. The camaro type doesn't look like it covers the whole front end.

Got mine from Randy's too. Easy bolt-on, made of metal with a rolled edge, not too obtrusive, and I think it actually helps my cooling by diverting air up and through the core.

A chin spoiler will serve one or two purposes depending on where you mount it. If you mount if under the rad support, it will force air up and into the radiator. If you mount it under the bumper it will help prevent air from going under the car.

With all that said you can (depending on your fab skills) make a combo of the two. You mount it under the bumper but have a fabbed section in the center that bolts under the radiator that has a recess/tunnel that will divert air to the radiator. Boom now you prevent excess air getting under the car but also air in the cooling of it. Best of both worlds the post above gives a great picture of what I'm talking about but you adjust it to fit your needs/preference

Been trying to post pics for awhile now. No go. Think my service (att) is to slow. Time expires before its done. Lousy service this area also. Windows wont close after upload from phone. Now when I go advanced only options are emocons or whatever you call those cartoon things. No photo options. I will keep trying!

Here's an older mockup of mine of an '80s aftermarket Mercedes spoiler.
With some trimming of the sides the spoiler can be mounted 2" higher against the valance and around the corner on the fenders.

I've only recently cut the sides so it fits a bit better, but haven't given it my full attention yet to finish it.

Someone here posted about using one of a Ford Ranger that wrapped around the corners, so good a fit it looked factory.
