I was actually hoping to get members to post a picture of the car there going to bring to Woodburn dragstrip July 26th? No offense, but I'd probably recognize your car first. Meet & greet ? Sorta thing ? Put a face to the avatar? or put a knuckle sandwich to my eye for any derogatory comments in the past! LOL!
I'm flying my son in from Colorado to race the car. I'm entering him in two classes to get as much bang for the buck as we can. Flying in the night before and flying out the morning after. (He's got a young family to raise)
O- ya, my gal will bring her survivor "66" barracuda to the car show.

Oh yeah , I met ya at the Portland swap meet. You were with john. I should have bought that 410 spool from you when I had the opportunity. Are you bringing stuff for the swapmeet ? By the way, what are you packin in that dart? I'm entering my son in pro and stick shift, maybe we'll get a chance to drag !! Anyway I'm going to sit on the sidelines with this forum for a while. ( scratch that I was just pissed) I'll probably only be on this thread. See ya in the staging lane ...

My dart runs pro class with a 340 904 combo 11.30 to11.40. Should be a blast. Nwdart

I check past threads even in the northwest part of this forum and it was like 2012 when people were talking about this event. There isn't a whole lot of a mopar people from the northwest or at least on this forum. I noticed more from Washington if anything, but just in comparison to Midwest and back east.

I didn't know about it. thanks for putting it on here. I will be there. without car. mine is disassembled. 66 barracuda formula S. putting 340 in it. I will look for your car.

I was there a few years ago. Its about 4 hours away, but I got a young family also, so won't be making up there this year. True there isn't many Mopar nuts in the NW atleast that I have had the chance to meet.

I went last year on my motorcycle. It's great inspiration. Please stop by, I'll be there with some of the people I race with. They are very nice, easygoing, and friendly.

I so understand having a young family. These kind of things have to be well planned and budgeted for. Even paying for my son's plane ticket and stuff I can only have him here for 31 hours as he has a young family with many responsiblys. Hopefully we'll see ya next year and I'll try and post pictures and videos.

I was just recently emailed by the local Plymouth club that they are all meeting at the Tualatin Valley Fred Meyers at 645 in the morning with coffee and leaving at 715 in the morning to caravan to the Woodburn dragstrip for the Nationals and they are extending the invitation to everyone who's going saying the more the merrier. I will try to attend this caravan if I can. Wow that first sentence was long! Lol

Just finished loading the dart, leaving on the 8 oclock ferry tomorrow morning and staying at johns tomorrow night . Gonna do some passes at the track sat and camp out for Sundays event. See you guys there. Nwdart

i don't think you'll have to worry about it being to hot. What class are you entering? Maybe we can race !??

Hey jpar, I run in pro class, looks like around 72 degrees on Sunday. Not sure how Sundays format will be but it will be a friggin blast!

It's all about my son racing the car this weekend. He will be flying in just for that day. I know will have him Racing stick shift for sure but I'm not sure if he'll Race Pro or sportsman also, but I am positive at least one or the other. I think it will matter how fast he can make the car go? I can get it to do an 11.7 right now, but I'm not sure if he will be able to make it under 12 to race pro. What is your car running ? Maybe he'll let me take practice pass.

My little 340 is runnin 11.4 .just changed a few things 11.39 is next target! Lol. Is it ever enough? Rich

Simple answer NO!! LOL I love to race a car thats a little bit faster, it pushes me. I'm concerned about the weather as it seems as we both have a small bit vested in Sunday.

what's the weather going to be?? I hear rain both days? true or not? like to run stick class
