Mopar Nationals 2015

no.....can you send me a link?....all I found were $600.

right now....Dan is bringing his (home) gas grille out.

Just contact me before May.....that is when I have to send in the check for the tent. The tent is sponsored and paid for by the participants ($100ea) with HDK handling the details and picking up any slack.

The tent size has increased every year.

Normally there is "reserved FABO/A body" parking right next to the tent......however, I cannot hold those premium spacers past 10 or 11am. It starts to make my fellow Mopar brothers mad to leave the spaces sit empty.....rightfully so.

Don't be shy.....all are welcome to join the fun.

I didn't think it was still called the "A body tent". Granted it still the majority body style but with the great collection of various Cuda's, GTX's, Road Runners, Coronet's ect........maybe it should be called the Hemi Tent or something like that.

The important question I have is what's the Beverage of choice for this year's Shin-Dig ?

Since I stroke a HDK check for it....I refer to it as the HDK sponsored tent.

it has no affiliation with FABO...... it is just a great place for our friends from FABO to congregate and bullsh*t with the rest of our Mopar brothers.

That's Kind of what I thought. When I see someone refer to it as the A body tent I have to ask. But you forgot to address the beverage issue

We are back on for the Nats. Because of our slow down in the oilpatch I made the responsible decision and chose work over fun and canceled our trip,,,then 2 weeks later the project goes and shuts down for 2 weeks at the same time I wanted holidays in the first place. :banghead:
Lucky for me, Old Man Mopar had still not given our space away :D
So we will see you good folks next week!!:thumblef:

HOW DO I get my 73 dart in the a body tent?
I'd start out by sending them a picture and the details of your car. From what I've seen there in the past,
virtually everything in that tent was a seriously modified multiple magazine feature or cover car. Some
pretty awesome stuff there and worth a walk over to look around. This year he's added some of the most
iconic Mopars there ever were with the factory street racers and the Motown/Mopar Missile cars.

I want to thank Denny (HDK) for putting this on year-after-year. I know he does it because he loves this stuff.

I am sure glad to hear about Rod being able to make it!

Looks like if everybody gets there that is supposed to be there, we will have a full house!

100 bucks for a spot in the tent! Count me in. If I ever get my dart done haha

I'm going with vodka then rum then tequila. In that order!

Hmmm...Had Rum all night Friday night at a wedding and Several Tequila shots and Margarita's Saturday night at another Social function......So maybe I'll go with the Vodka.

I didn't think that grill was that expensive! I looked and i cant find any cheap ones!

I can rent a large propane grill mounted on a trailer from the base MWR but I have no way to get that and the Dart there with only one truck. I don't think the Doubles endorsement on my Commercial Drivers license works for that purpose.

Bingo....how much $$$

gotta figure out how to do it.

Sounds to me like you should stay away from an open flame for a few days!

FYI I have tentatively moved Dave's Dart to the left end of the back row, behind the Silver Bullet
and the Hoover Coronet and next to Bill's Barracuda. Keeps all of the Hoover affiliated cars together.

FYI - Harold Sullivan is bringing some Silver Bullet Die-casts, Hats, T-shirts, DVD’s & Posters for sale.

Joe Pappas is bringing some Mopar Missile posters. Joe and Dick Oldfield will be in attendance to sign them.

I'm bringing some imported LaValle whole tomatoes for Mrs Pappas.

I have a 6 ft by 5 ft charcoal grille on a trailer, stainless,it can hold up to a whole hog or dang near 500 burgers. Sadly, I can only show one day this year, next year planning for the entire week, remind me and I'll bring it then. I'd offer to bring it this year but I'm already hauling a trailer over to store my dart parts i plan on buying in...
