Day 1 of 4. Thought I'd share one of our annual events in Sweden. This is the first day of four.
This particular week about 20 000 cars visit the city of Rättvik.
This is my first year here in Rättvik with a own car.

First of all , gas. The trip is about 140 miles.
Funny to see the average consumption or ......

I wish I had the money and health. Would love to visit there. Cool stuff

Love how your speedo goes to 200 even if it is in km 8)

Please share more pics!! 20K cars in 4 days sounds awesome :D

My Norwegian exchange daughter (she stayed with us while she was in the US for a year for school) told me about this show - she's gone from Norway to see it. :)

Spent the whole day at the racetrack.

Soon I'm gonna head further up north to Orsa.
Tomorrow it's muscle car day at the strip and monday Mopars at the strip :burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout:

^^^^ X2 X^^^^^.... You Swedes ,have such a passionate taste for American hot rodding. Just ,mind blowing ...

The weather stoppad me yesterday from going to Orsa.
Rained heavily evening and night (didn't cover the airfilter)
This morning when the rain stopped I decided to make a new try.
Engine started and coughed , stopped. Damn the carburator must have been full of water.
Thought something went really bad but tried start again. Tok a while until all 8 was firing.

This is what I met after 15 min driving.

Got worse and I began thinking if this was a good idea. Suddenly I felt something on my legs , water pooring in. On my legs , on center console and on the floor on the passenger side.
Windows began fogging.

It's a crappy picture but my jeans have another shade of blue in the bottom.

Soon time to rise the tent and after that head away to the strip though I don't think they will race because of the weather but it's worth a try. Weather is clearing.

Arrived to Orsa. Theese two days are a piece of ClassicCarWeek. Musclecar day at the strip Sunday and Mopars at the strip Monday. Ihad to go some place to dry out. I found a restaurant at the camping. I ate and drank lots of coffee waiting for the rain to stop. When the rain stopped and I had dried I went for the tentrising.

This is how it turned out.

I think many were deterred due to the bad weather but an estimated number of showcars was 300-400 + 106 cars who drove the strip. If the gods of weather had been with us it could have been even better numbers. All in all a perfect finishing day of Orsa Dragfest and Mopars at the strip

At last two no A-bodies
I had to ask the owner what "One of the good guys" stands forbecause I saw more cars with the same expression
I had explained to me that car salesmen from the past was impopular and the Chrysler corporation founded this expression to turn peoples emotions to the better just for Mopars.

I don´t know if you get this explanation in my swenglish. I´m sure you have heard this expression before but for me it was learning something interesting.

Total chaos year after year in Rättvik.
Takes 25-30 min to drive 1 mile!!!
