Getting ready to go to ALL MOPAR car show in Salem today. It's at Roberson Motors, across the street from Costco. AND Woodburn on Sun.. I look forward to this weekend every year. See you guys there.

looking like 70 degrees both days. Saturday showers - Sunday morning looks good with 50% chance of showers from 1pm in Woodburn.

Did you all have fun, how was the show and racing.

Did you all have fun, how was the show and racing.

It Sems everybody had a really great time! The weather was scaring people away I think as attendance was a little lower than normal. But all in all it was actually great weather! And the lower attendance allowed for more racing. My son I flew in from Colorado was able to race four practice rounds in pro and four practice rounds in stick shift. He was eliminated in the first round of both classes but decided to run the run tough for the stick shift class where they let the first round eliminated race against each other. He actually won that after three rounds which was really fun for us! He took over a dozen passes and it was the first time he raced it since last year when I had him down. Now mind you last year it had the 318 in it and this year it has the new stroker motor in it. needless to say he was quite happy with the results :) his reaction times needed a little work but that was lack of practice I think. He had the cars best 60 foot times - got it down into the 1.6's. He said the clutch was slipping in 4th gear so I need to look into that and have posted for some recommendations on the 4 speed transmission part of the forum. I did see a couple/few FABO members and was able to chat with a couple which is always a good thing. I'll post a few pictures mostly of my son with the car and stuff like that. I didn't have time to go over to the car show although we did bring our 66 barracuda, never really were around that part. I barely had a few minutes to look at the swap meet for parts. what's up with the upside-down pictures ! ??

I agree definitely seemed attendance was a little lower than usual and less show cars. I think it's a great show and wish more people would go I've been 8 out of the last 9 shows. I seen the scrapper go down the strip looked good. Dustin

I had a good time. with attendance down the swap was weak. I did have get to watch a lot of racing. Rich lost something in the bottom end of his dart doing shake down runs on Saturday. I did get a chance to make a pass with my 67 383 barracuda.

I thought "the scrapper" was doing real well! If nothing else got to make a lot of passes!
Another FABO car super blue dart sport from Marysville Wa went to the finals, beating the track champ Derek Jackson in their A-100. That was quite a feat as he is rock solid! So awesome job for him!!
