found a set of manifolds for sale
fit "A" and "E"

working heat riser, with stove pipe baffle and flex hose

3418621 7-19-71
3418623 5-24-71

wants $450

he says they are worth it...> 1 year only...
compared to the multi year 68-70 manifolds

Are they going for that much?

I did a search
only found a passenger side for sale, it was $275

Seems high to me for those manifolds. 7/19/71 would most likely be a 72 model year car. Or an extremely late 71 model year car.

The correct heat shield stove pipe assembly would be for a 72 motor. It has a value on it's own. Not sure on the value, but you have to factor that in.

The drivers side stove pipe assembly would point to this set being out of a 72 model year car.

Are you looking for correct casting numbers (looking) manifolds or does it matter to you if the date code correspond to your SPD date (scheduled production date) on you fender tag.

use the search function on FABO and see what past sets are asking for and if they sold.

The A-Body manifolds are different on the driver's side.
A-Body manifolds will fit on a B and E but not vice versa.
Look for the manifold to be curved to fit around the steering shaft and it's an A Body.
Dump at the back and look like a log manifold, and it's a B or E.
Passenger side is the same.
$275 for one?
Wow.
Even at $450 a pair that's a lot for the year.........

Right side is nothing special, big port, center dump. Drivers side same as 68-72 with minor variances

Thanks for all the replies

Conversation started as
A person was here to buy other parts and spotted the 71 Dart

I mentioned that I was selling the headers from it
That's when he said he had manifolds for it ( I was going to put my extra set of 68-70 on it)

I'm not a #'s guy

crackedback-
I haven't seen the manifolds
but doing a search last night I saw this

ON Mymopar.com

340 1971-72 Right 3148623
340 1971-72 Left 3418621

here's the chart I cut it off at the manifold #'s he said they were> at the bottom

He is to bring them by for barter,I'll get a pic and post back here
as to what the driver's side is

Thanks to all for the info. I wont be buying them at that price

Those guys glommed that from the bogus list that's been floating around the internet forever. Find a 3418623 manifold in a 69 parts book, you won't because it hadn't been produced. They updated their list to the correct numbers I posted in my thread.

That original mymopar list is as bad as the rear axle length chart that's just as bad with 62-70 B body being the same or A body 8.75's at 51.40/ Both number are wrong for the covered years.

Thank you very MUCH
That's why I ask questions HERE

I would hate to barter for it, then later, find out it doesn't fit....LOL

Thanks
