Turbo Scamp

408 CI, compression of 8.5:1, with freeway flyer 3.23 gears. Since this is going to be my daily driver, the idea was to make it as streetable as possible with extras thrown in for fun. ;-)

Well the engine in my Scamp was built for boost, 410CI , 9:1 Compression, Solid Roller cam etc. I have it on Juice now with about a 180 Hit.... It comes on the pipe hard and 3200rpm comes very quick without the Juice. I do have Ford 9" with Ladder bar & 4.30 gears in it right now.

3:23 gears may be too low with boost. Lots of guys are 3.0 and even under that with Turbo's. I know using an 8 3/4 rear end has you limited in selection of gears.

You for sure will have a handful when it gets into the boost. A standard NA 400+CI motor is plenty of torque, yours will be mega on boost.... Will be fun,fun,fun!!
