Clean that wet line and I bet you will see a rubbed threw spot on it, this can be fixed by replacing or cut it with tubing cutters and put a good rubber line (4 t0 5 inches) with good stainless steel clamps... Looks like it is leaking (dripping) bad. This is a trans line ?

All the fuzzy lint reminds me of my days in the textile mill. Clean it all good and locate the exact location of the leak, repair, and pray, could work.
I'll go ahead and add this... My single leak location was selector shaft seal. A short time after that repair the front seal began to leak. I then realized a simple fact of the matter, All of them were the same age.

If it is a cooler line worn through like Mike says, I like using compression unions instead of rubber line.
They tend to stay leakless a lot longer.

If it's a park/brake cable it'll have to get replaced, as I have never seen a reasonable way to fix those.
I have seen where people found a crack in a park/brake cable and fixed it with RTV though, and that seemed to work out ok.

If you can get a pic of where that leaking line goes into the trans that will tell us which it is.

I should not even be leaking, as it's upside down. What kind of 2 post you have, anyway?

I think it's the speedo cable that's leaking. There is a tiny little rubber seal on the speedo cable that needs to be replaced. But my experience with a leaky old torqueflite is that they leak from a bunch of places and each time you fix one, another will still be leaking. I also see drips forming on the park pawl cover. Which could be traveling from elsewhere.

My advice is to get a seal kit for your year. 1965 torqueflites are unique and different from 66 and up. Try Torqueflite Patty on eBay.

Also, getting it clean will serve you well in being able to see where it's leaking.

If you discover the shift cable is leaking, there is an o-ring for that. If the shift cable housing is damaged it will leak there too. I found shrink tubing to be a good fix. Use multiple layers of increasing length.

The o-ring on the dipstick tube is another common leak point.

He most likely uploaded them from his phone, which flips them upside down. Happens to me as well with my iPhone.

I'm rebuilding my early 727 right now and can tell you there are a few spots back there that like to leak. O ring on the parking cable is a usual culprit. Also has an access hole with a plug that can leak as well as the parking brake cable through bolt.

And up above, on the low/reverse band pivot is an o ring. This little guy requires the tailshaft to come off. Speedo gear housing is back a bit farther but, yup, it has an o ring.

I'm putting mine back together slowly and sealing all of the above with aircraft gasket brush on gasket. I am tired of looking at all the fluid hanging down under there. Hope it helps.
