any one swapped out the 67-69 wing window set up for the 73-76 door glass? curious what it takes? can it be done? it would shave a few pounds in the doors and make things cleaner.

I like them too and mine are all restored but I couldn't help but think bout what it would look like with just glass. Sounds like I would have to swap entire door. So it's a no go

I'm torn on the idea. I like the clean look of solid glass, but i love the utility of the wings, plus i smoke so the wings get an extra nod. I think if my wings are already restored, id just go with that.

I love the vent wing windows ....I almost wish my duster had them as well.
I don't like my hair blowing all over especially if I am dressed up to go somewhere nice and I have the "big hair" set up. with the vent wing I get cooler air without it in my face. The passenger side wing window open at the right angle puts much needed cooler air right where I need it.
Especially in my dart with no a/c. I don't have a newer car so the dart has to go everywhere....even weddings, formal events and job interviews LOL

Personally I love the vent wings and was sad when they changed them to wingless models,but by then the "beak" darts came in and I don't like those anyway.
