Mig splatter....

The issue is the china made wire is a crap shoot. You have no idea what they melted down to make the wire you are running. the contaminants in the wire are causing the spatter. You may get halfway through the spool and find it runs well without any changes at all. It doesn't make a difference if you but it from a weld shop or harbor freight if the weld shop is selling the cheap Chinese wire. You can try turning the voltage up and wire speed down so you are spray arcing to see if it cuts down on your spatter.

Visited the welding shop the other day. They told me that the wire I got is indeed some generic stuff. Talked to them about the troubles, they offered to swap the wire put for what they consider a very good wire. They did tell me that the cost of it is more than double of the stuff I bought but they would discount it as much as they could.
The o-ring on the previous liner just didn't look right. New liner helped some, but still getting a crap load of splatter...
