Input shaft removal from clutch drum

Ok,

I normally have no problem figuring things out, however this is my first attempt at a partial rebuild of a A999.

I am currently putting in non-lockup 904 parts into this to convert it.

I have a non-LU valve body, pump and torque converter already.
I currently have a non-LU input shaft by itself (Thanks fishy68_) but now I'm trying to take the old lockup input shaft off of the clutch drum and it is not cooperating.
Yes I took out the snap ring in case some was wondering.
I cannot see anything else that could hold the darn thing back.

Do I just pound away until comes out? Or press it out? Or am I really missing something here?
