I really like the new B Body format. I went over to for trucks only as Joey requested and I really did not care for it and I hope FABO does not turn into that. I found it very confusing. if A bodies has to change I would love to see it go to the B and E body site format.

thoughts?
 
I have bin on the truck site, it's ok but not enough to say much. I do not like the B Body site at all.
 
I thought trucksonly is similar to the current fabo and a lesser evil than FBBO.

if FABO is going to change I would like to see it set up like trucksonly.

I don't see much fabo resemblance at all , but that's my perception lol. not only that but I am getting a pop up saying that I have undo my addblocker plus to use it to its full potential. that's not going to happen
 
I spend some time in B's and a little on Trucks. All three are different. It's all in getting used to how it works. I like it here best but I'm practiced up. tmm
 
I never got the confirmation e mail. Never been back.
 
TMM nailed it. Eventually it will have to change to a new system and with each new system comes learning it. Just like the day you all signed up here. Everyone had to learn how to operate and navigate the forum. Sure it could had been like another you have been on, but Im a member on at least a dozen different forums and each one is different.

Not possible. B, C & E sites run on the same software as this site, albeit a newer version.

The company who made our software, vBulletin, was once the number 1 developer of forum software. The last few years they have become, IMO and the opinion of many others, one of the worst. This version and the version the other sites run on are no longer being updated or developed for. This leads to many problems that will only grow as time goes on.

I see , well that's too bad lol , so assume all the sites will eventually go to the truck format. why do I have remove my addblocker Joey? that's just crazy

at the B body site, I like the way the "thanks" buttons work, you can add or remove a "thanks" and it tells you "who" is thanking who , which is a cool feature. I really like the fact you can delete your post if you change your mind about commenting. I also like that you can change your background colors which helps me read better because of the contrast.

If you take a close look (and have registered) you'll see there is a like system there, which is the same as thanks. I even have the ability to expand it into other things.

This is why I sent the pm and asked people to give it a try.

I think the biggest part of the problem, for me anyway, is change.

I hate change, lol. Well, at least some things.

It's just like operating systems for computers. Winhozed XP has worked, and continues to work very well for me.

At some point though I know I will have to change, and I don't want too.
 
I thought the truck site was easy to navigate too.... it all comes down to what you get use to,it'll just take a lil time to be an "expert"

I also understand that change has to happen and we'll just have to make the best of it.

I like and appreciate all the "only" sites.

I think it's okay, i like the format here better.

Agreed.
--- IMHO ,The software/programing is an excellent 'bridge' into a less $(server) & more streamlined intuitive route to the same info.

As an analogy...
Vintage Misery,
Classic Body Styles... Repeat, Classic Body Styles...
with dinosaur tech...

'Preservation' of info in the 21'st century requites posters to study basic codex.

Example,
The H.A.M.B...
 
There's a "Thanks " button on every post. What's not to like!
