:protest: 1967 Plymouth Valiant Brake Problems HELP

HELLO, Everyone who reads this. I need HELP my 67 Valiant has 26000 miles all original
nothing missing but things are acting funny such as my brakes. I drive my Valiant to work 3-5 times a year. today i parked it and put my brake club lock and it pulled the towards me so i removed it and put the pedal back down and the brakes still work, then I turned off the car and the brakes lights are on but i didn't apply pressure on my brakes, I'm scared that the sensor or anything mechanical got broken. Ive had the car for a almost a year I'm the 3rd owner and i bought new front and rear brakes and still need to put wheel bearings but thats another thing later i just need help on my situation for my brakes PLEASE HELP ME WITH ANY INFO. THANK YOU.

The switch that operates the brake lamps is mounted above the pedal. Sounds like it is now out of adjustment. The little bolt that attaches the 'L' shaped switch bracket is a real pain to get to. That's where you need to go. I suspect that due to the way the pedal rod attaches to the master cylinder, the club could repeatedly force this switch out of proper position.

Brake light switch most likely. Mine did that after changing over to front disks. Its a little switch right behind the brake peddle arm. Its threaded and can be adjusted. Had to do with mine.

Maybe they changed with some year model but not all of them can be adjusted by screwing the switch in/out of its mounting bracket. Early models required moving the bracket to adjust switch position.

I would also make sure the brake rod is still firmly seated in the MC
