Yes, but the 413 will require a tad more money, maybe acouple hundred over say a 440.

No you don't have to swap k frames. Schumacher makes conversion kits for 169 bucks.

No, your small block or slant 6 trans wont work, unless its a 4 speed manual, then you can simply swap the bell housings. Otherwise, you'll need a big block 727.
