Hey guys im building a big block build for my 70 dart. I was wondering if it would be advantageous to use ram air to feed this 850cfm carb i will be using and if so where can i hide the vents since i don't want to use hood scoops or a cowl

By cowl, do you mean a cowl hood? I've been toying with the idea of 2 feeder lines off the cowl area under the hood. Lots of airflow there, but you might not like the sound of intake all the time through your vents. Very stealth (until you open the hood)

diymirage, That's exactly what i want something stealthy but functional its going to be a mild build so i need lots of fresh air

That is trick and I like it.For a lazy and less ingenious guy like myself you can always relocate the battery to the trunk and use the area beside the radiator/behind the headlight.
I have seen some people use the inner fender and out a screen in place over the opening to aid in debris not making it to the air cleaner.

Thanks, I shoulda figured somebody else would have thought of that before me. Sounds like it works quite well too. Might have to make it a serious consideration. I must have seen that early NASCAR photo somebody posted at some point in my past.

Pretty sure that is on page 2 of the link I posted

question would that affect the air Conditioning? since we are depraving it of air because of the engine?
