A little advise

If it is in good shape then take it apart and balance it,hone(if needed)new rings(if needed) and bearings,and maybe deck the block and cut some valve reliefs in the pistons.Then look for some closed chamber heads to get a decent street compression ratio.
It could be a low buck build or you can redo it all the way.If you are going to bore it then consider looking for a 440.More cubes is always better.
