I am taking parts off of a 67 Valiant 3 Speed Manual on the Column, Besides the Pedals what else will interchange with a 4 Speed? I want to do a 4 Speed conversion one day and would like to Gather parts.

Better get the complete Z bar along with the body mount bracket

Take the tabs off the transmission for the shifter rods, they may work, also the linkage from the petals down to the z-bar.
Steering column would also be easy enough to modify, does it have manual or power steering?

If the bellhousing is a dual pattern where the tranny bolts up, keep it.

3 speed on the column should be manual steering. Take the manual steering shaft with coupler at least. If you don't want it I'll buy it. If heavy duty 3 speed, A230, the driveshaft should also be the same if you are using the same rear end.

Yes it is a Manual steering car I was thinking on taking Pedals, Whole column, Gear box, Dash pad since it is 67 only and in nice shape. I was Told a Slant Z bar will nt work for a V8? is this true? here are pics of the car.
