Looking at pulling off my stock fan and going to flex-a-lite low profile 2500cfm elec fan. My stock fan always sounds like a jet taking off, clutch fan won't fit, limited room to radiator as many of you know. Very mild 200hp 318 street car, just wondering if fan will be enough. Right now I have no heating problems at all, mostly it's a noise issue and maybe squeeze a couple more hp out of it (not that it will help) :)
Low profile is the only one that will fit in car. thanks

Mechanical fans are more efficient and move much more air. Look at the nylon fans on Summit. They are cheap (~$20) and can fit a narrow space. Euro cars have narrower clutch/fans, so might fit. The one from my 1985 M-B bolts to my water pump, as I recall test-fitting just for kicks.

Did you check to see if the Jaguar fan clutch would fit? It's shorter than the Mopar spec clutch. I believe it's Hayden P/N 2765.
